Faith When Things Seem Impossible

Many of us are holding on by a thread… but before you spiral, let me explain.

Many of us as believers have been given an assignment, a dream, or a desire that we know was placed in our hearts by God. Yet when we look around and closely examine ourselves, we begin to doubt God's ability to work through us. We dwell on our failures and flaws and wonder how God is going to accomplish such things through someone like us.

I often find myself wondering why God would choose me for such a big task. I also wonder if God will continue to use me even though I fail and make mistakes. What about the moments when I feel like quitting? Or the times when I don’t even desire to complete the task at all?

The amazing thing about the love and grace of God is that it constantly pursues us. He is not worried about what we can do for Him; He desires our hearts, our trust, and our surrender.

The Bible repeatedly tells us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. So why would we think He brought us this far just to leave us now?

Just something to ponder.
